"SHELLEY LAKE"

this afternoon, i went to "SHELLEY LAKE PARK" here in RALEIGH, this place is where we used to run before but since my jogging partner left for ILLINOIS to work, i stopped going 'cause i discovered a smaller park near my place.

this is a big park, about a mile and a half if you run around the lake ................. there is even a soccer field for anyone who wants to play.

during summer, it's an ordinary sight to see small snakes coming from the lake on the jogging path sometimes, nothing to be scared of, just watch out so as not to step on them.

the fall colors are all around the lake, give it another week and the place would surely be even more breathtaking to look at!

nothing much happened yesterday, its the usual ............ work - dinner break and window shopping at BEST BUY in KNIGHTDALE.

that is what we always do after dinner, we have an hour for dinner and thats more than enough to eat and shop after. 

we went to ZAXBY'S , its a chicken restaurant here in southeastern US, the food is good and the price is very reasonable. MATT loves this place and i do love chicken once in a while.

saw TAKENIA about to go home and i snapped some pictures of her in the locker room, she is such a beautiful subject to photograph and one of my favorite!

i cant resist not to take this picture of the sun earlier while on our way to dinner, the sun has always been a favorite subject for me to photograph.

"COLD MONDAY"

YES, it was very cold this morning when i woke up, i think it was in the 30's  .............. i had a very good sleep though.

the afternoon was'nt so bad, the temperature was good for plain cotton t-shirt.

when i got to work, i saw this two in the locker room ...... TAKENIA & SHAMISSE. i just have to take their picture.

"AUTUMN"

this is how the trees in my neighborhood looks like, they are starting to change color ............. how time flies, it was now AUTUMN, even the temperature is changing, it's getting to be a little colder now.

soon, all the leaves would be changing colors and eventually fall and in no time it is going to be winter .............. CHRISTMAS is here again!

with what is happening to the economy, i just hope christmas wont be so bad this year!

"ROH CHINA BUFFET"

For the 2nd time in a row this week, we had our dinner at ROH CHINA BUFFET ......... Yes DANA, chinese food again tonight!

This time EVELYN, JOY, EVITA, BRIGETTE & FRANK  came with us.   again, i ate like a pig and MATT wasted his money ........ again!

THURSDAY

DANA requested morning shift today because her mother in law is flying in this afternoon from NORTH DAKOTA  ...................  she'll be on vacation from tomorrow FRIDAY and the rest of next week.

well, that means it's gonna' be just me and MATT going to dinner everyday till next week ............ DANA is so picky when it comes to places to eat, she does'nt like chinese food, seafoods, even my favorite BURGER!

TODAY we went to a chinese restaurant in NEW BERN AVE. called ROH CHINESE BUFFET, the food is fine, the restaurant workers are accomodating and the price is very reasonable ............  i had a good time 'cause i love to eat and i keep telling MATT he is wasting his money .............. it's a BUFFET so you should eat like there's no tomorrow     ha!ha!ha!  their CRAB LEGS DINNER is $16 !

OH YEAH!   my fortune cookie today says,

MATT'S fortune cookie says,

whatever that is, is his problem HA HA HA!

today we went to dinner half hour early, the usual place every monday, it is CHIC-FIL A. ........... we were thinking of going somewhere else but MATT wanted to go to BEST BUY in KNIGHTDALE to buy the 32 gig IPOD TOUCH.  well, that cost him $400+ 

when we got back at work, i took some pictures using my new wide angle lens and here they are.

"FAMILY PICNIC"

(SATURDAY 0CT 11, 2008) the company's FAMILY PICNIC was held this afternoon, it was a bit cloudy and a little colder too but that did not discourage employees and their families to come and enjoy the picnic.

there was so much food and games for the kids ................ everybody enjoyed the event.
