took this pictures around 6PM, the time we were going to dinner, the sun was still up at that time so really i think spring is near ................... i'm so glad 'cause i cant stand this cold weather anymore.

i'll be on vacation starting next week, i'm going to SAN FRANCISCO, CA. to be with my sister before she goes back to the PHIL.

another plane crashed in AMSTERDAM today ..................... i hope i get there safely and back ......... i'm not scared of flying but news like this gives me the creeps!

"BABY'S BREATH"

this is one of my favorite and because BABY'S BREATH flowers are so tiny, it is always used as background for large flowers.

i used this a lot on the family's MATER DOLOROSA'S CARROZA every year during the HOLY WEEK PROCESSION.

because it's flower is white, it stand out against the black motif of the MATER DOLOROSA.

"WHITE ROSES"

I JUST LOVE WHITE ROSES!  they looked so PURE and VIRGINAL ........................  just like me! ....... just kidding but if you agree with me, then i love ya' so very mucho!

these are NIT'S roses, the one's her department gave her for her 20th years of service with the company.

"20th anniversary"

NENITA (NITS) AFSAHI celebrated her 20th year of service with the company today. The company in turn gave her a gift of $800 to take anyone she wants for lunch.

She invited everyone from her department and took them to lunch at a very upscale restaurant downtown.

tonight, dinner was at MAYFLOWER SEAFOOD RESTAURANT in CAPITAL BLVD. here in RALEIGH.

that's because it was FRANK'S last day on our shift ............... starting on monday, he's gonna be working on 3rd shift as the new TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR ............. ain't that great!

                                     hope you'll be back on 2nd shift soon!

"after valentine"

SUNDAY, after VALENTINES DAY, i went to TARGET (like i usually do after) to buy some chocolates (truffles preferably) that were on sale after valentines day.

there were some but not the one i like, but still i did bought 5 different boxes ............ they were also very good!

I JUST LOVE TRUFFLES! and that's the only thing i love about VALENTINES DAY!

"MATT'S BIRTHDAY"

tomorrow, FEB 14, is MATT'S BIRTHDAY ...................... that's the reason i sometimes call him CUPID.

since we wont be seeing him tomorrow, we decided to have dinner today. .... we went to REMINGTON GRILL with DANA & JOHN, just the 4 of us.

it's been quite a while since the last time MATT and I went to dinner together so i kind'a miss that!

WE LOVE YOU, MATT!!!       again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
