"PICTURES FROM LAST MONDAY"

this pictures were taken last MONDAY when i cooked ADOBO for my friends & co-workers, i should have posted them yesterday but i have completely forgotten this pics in my camera.

some of the chicken legs that i was frying after a day of marinating, just frying them half cooked before cooking them fully in the marinating sauce.

it is another record breaking heat here in RALEIGH, i think we were in the 100's earlier, it's as if i am in ARIZONA! ........... Oh! don't get me wrong, i love SUMMER, this is my favorite time of the year, I LOVE IT!

LINDA, VICKY, NITS & MIA treated me for a b-day lunch at chili's today.

this is where we decided to meet, at MACYS in TRIANGLE TOWN CENTRE around 11:30 am, when i got there they were all shopping to death ............... i don't know how they can manage to use everything they buy EVERY WEEKEND. this is what you call SHOPAHOLIC! HA! HA! HA!

this is where we went for lunch CHILI'S at TRIANGLE TOWN CENTRE, today, the food is GREAT, the service is FANTASTIC and the WAITER is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!................... i was not able to take his picture though .................. i'm SHY kasi eh!

i don't know whether i should be happy or sad ........................ a friend of mine is leaving next month for something good and better ........................ i know i'm gonna' miss you FRIEND but we have to do what we have to do and all i can say is TAKE CARE and GET IN TOUCH!

" MY SPECIAL DAY "

Today was my special day ........................ its my birthday! normally, i don't want to remember this day neither do i want a celebration but this year is different, i don't know why.

i had a quiet day, my plan to attend mass this morning at 7 am did not materialized, i just could not get out of bed so i just went to church this afternoon and ask HIM for my gift.

the day was really hot, it was in the 90's today ............................ i think! but none the less it was such a beautiful day to take pictures.

" BIRTHDAY DINNER "

EVELYN, EVITA, DANA & LaSHONDA celebrated with me my b-day in a mexican restaurant, it was a spur of the moment thing because its not my b-day today ....................... it is tomorrow!

but since i am on leave tomorrow , they decided we have to go and have dinner together ......... so we went to EL SENOR one of the best, if not the best MEXICAN RESTAURANT here in RALEIGH.

THANKS EVELYN for my STEAK RANCHERO, it was really good especially when its free! LOVE YA'
